LifeTravel Cookie Policy

1. Scope

This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used by lifetravel.app. LifeTravel does not use third-party behavioral advertising or cross-site analytics.

2. Essential storage

Better Auth uses first-party, secure session and security cookies to authenticate requests, prevent abuse, and maintain account state. These cookies are necessary to provide the service and cannot be disabled inside LifeTravel. They are session or limited-duration cookies and are removed or invalidated on sign-out, expiry, account disablement, or session revocation.

3. Local browser storage

The installable web application uses a service worker and Cache Storage for the offline shell, icons, and static assets. Web Push stores a browser subscription only after you grant browser permission. You can revoke notification permission or clear site data in browser settings.

4. Optional provider interactions

Google may use cookies when you actively choose Google sign-in or load an interactive Google Map. Stripe may use cookies and fraud-prevention storage when you open checkout or the billing portal. These providers control their own storage under their policies. LifeTravel does not load optional advertising trackers.

5. Your choices

You can clear LifeTravel site data, revoke push permission, block optional third-party cookies, or use email and password instead of Google. Blocking essential first-party cookies prevents sign-in and authenticated features. Browser controls may need to be configured separately on each device.

6. Changes and contact

Material changes will be reflected here. Contact [email protected] with questions.
